AN APPEAL FOR PROVISION OF ARTIFICIAL LIMBS TO THE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES FREE JAIPUR LIMB CAMP
Rishi Samskruthi Vidya Kendra (RSVK) is organizing a Free Jaipur Foot camp in Pune to distribute artificial limbs, calipers and crutches free-of-charge to the physically challenged. This seven day camp takes place from December 16 - 22, 2009 between 09.00 am to 06.00pm at Mahavira Prathishtana Sangha School, Salisbury Park, Pune, India. We are inviting Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) Jaipur,India who are the world’s largest limb fitting organisation, helping more than a million physically-challenged people to be mobile again by providing the best artificial limbs. ProtoTech Solution is supporting Rishi Samskruthi Vidya Kendra's(RSVK) work with the physically challenged through financial donation and by volunteering to Jaipur Foot Camp , where the disabled people looking for their limb of life are provided with artificial limbs, calipers and crutches. These are the people who are suffering from polio, or amputees of accident and gangrene. The heart breaking scene where people come crawling on their hands and legs, children being carried by their parents, patients coming on wheel chairs with hope in their eyes, and anxiety writ large on their faces, expecting their life to turn into a new leaf, believing that a miracle will happen. Some of them are advised corrective surgeries. They go back walking with the aids or with the satisfaction that somebody has assured them a better life, with the corrective surgeries, wheel chairs and tricycles to enable them to lead a normal life.
Donations : ProtoTech Solution is going to match your contribution,confident in the knowledge that every penny you donate will go towards helping an individual who has become disabled possibly due to no fault of his / her own. Also,every penny you donate will go for helping the individual and not into management. Approximately the cost of one leg is Rs. 40$ (Inclusive of all), Tricycle cost is,Rs.120$, and Rs. 14$ for a pair of Crutches. So if you decide to sponsor a person you need to donate HALF the amount, as other HALF will be added by Prootech Solution. We are Targetting around 20 persons for 10 legs, 10 tricycles.
